KBRL Finals to be run on "The Dirt" Layout!
For the past few weeks Joey Christensen and I have been working out
rebuild details for the Nitro Challenge and yesterday I received
confirmation that the 1/10th track at Fear Farm R/C Raceway will be
finished in time for the KBRL Electric Series final, held on February
11th. The new track will open for the first time on Friday February
10th. Practice Friday will be approximately 3PM to 10PM.
The schedule for the finals is about done and I'm looking to open the
track at 7AM with racing starting at 10AM. Remember, the top 6 in each
class will have two open practice sessions, the first of which starting
at approximately Noon.
The Nitro Challenge schedule has been tweaked a bit to make it easier
for 1/10th and 1/5th scale racers, with Open practice to be run on those
tracks Friday the 24th of February. Morning open practice will also be
held on those tracks Saturday, with qualifying Saturday Afternoon. Mains
for Electric 1/10th and 1/5th will be Sunday.
With this season being such a great one, I'm so excited to see the
finals be played out on a brand new layout! Thanks to Joey and "The Dirt
Racing", for bringing 3 great tracks to Arizona!!
